Ok. I think this is day 30. I have 3 different PC's and sometimes loose track of how long I've worked on my boat.
Yesterday I primed the outside hull and all the seats. I primed with Brightsides Gray Primer. Is this stuff thick or what? It covers unbelievably well. I wouldn't be surprised if this is what they coat Stealth Fighter's with. I used masking tape on the gunwales. I cut 1/3 off my foaam roller. That was perfect size to lay the primer. One thing I did not anticipate is the strong smell of this primer. I almost killed a family of 4 overnight. The boat is in the basement and the stuff was rising up pretty well. I opened all the windows in the basement and had to open two windows in the bedrooms. Kids dressed up and stayed warm throughout the night.
Because of the opened windows the stuff did not dry really well. It is more than 16 hours since I coated this but the paint is still tacky. I will wait until tomorrow.
