Shawn, you don't know the half of it. Imagine getting up before sunrise to catch the fog burning off over calm water. Every mooching duck and hopeful seagull sees me as the only meal ticket in sight and promptly sets up in front of the camera, some sitting of the boat itself. Throwing rocks is counter productive. It just screws up the water. Shouting, screaming, and generally carrying on not only attracts seagulls from farther away, it really annoys the grumpy bi-peds that stayed up too late lieing to each other. Setting off a 12 ga would solve one problem but cause new ones. Sigh. Maybe dressing up in camo and carrying a lethal looking stick would at least keep the ducks and goofy tourists farther away.
