A couple guys mentioned this show here the other day so I thought I`d send out a review to anyone considering a long drive and or time investment and isn`t sure what to expect.
There are only a couple kayaks (nothing fancy here), a few wood canoes, a handful of small wood sailboats but a whole lot of huge powerboats in everything from aluminum to glass to wood and preciuos little swag, given the steep price of admission.
If you do go, stop in and say hello to the lads from Newfound. Tool junkies: don`t miss the guy upstairs selling antique tools (dozens of planes, chisels, rare shipwright tools). Get your "Have you flogged your crew today?" t-shirt. A 16 oz Shipyard is $3.25, but remember, Admission is $15.00 and parking is a huge PITA.
