You can groove the forms about 3/8th" from the edges and use spring clamps to hold the strips down. Also, to hold them strip to strip. Takes lots of clamps though. I have around 100 - 1" and that will do a strip on each side, then I have a few more 2" clamps that will hold the stubborn strips. And for the impossible ones, I'll steam 'em and make whimps out of them. Since the glue sets in around 15 minutes and cures in about an hour, it doesn't take much to before you are pulling the clamps off and starting over on the next strip.
