: Don Beale will be leading a paddle-building workshop at SSTIKS 2002. Learn
: the secrets of making his beautiful ultralight Greenland-style paddles,
: and make a paddle of your own in the workshop. There will be some tools
: there, but bring your own block plane and/or spokeshave if you can.

: For you skin-on-frame nuts (self included) there will be plenty of cool skin
: kayaks. Other kayaks (stippers, S&G, glass, and tupperware) are welcome
: too. Joe said he will probably have the King there.

: There will also be all sorts of Greenland-technique demos and workshops for
: those interested in actual on the water experience, but this is just a
: side note, because everyone here is just interested in building, right?
: If you haven't seen one of these guys do their rolling demos, then you
: need to come just for that! If you've seen it before, then come to learn
: how to do it yourself. We plan to have lots of hands-on training.
