Hi Ken, bummer. Boat building is hard enough on a relationship without that kind of stuff. Super glue is technically cyanoacrylate. I have used it on my boat and there is a special solvent for it. I couldn't tell you what's in it but they sell the solvent at Woodcraft stores, Woodcraft online and Garrett Wade. I've also used Fingernail Polish Remover - not on my boat but once when I glued two fingers together.
