Luke,
I too believe in constructive critisum and your two cents is appreciated. I went to college at a photography school where the process of learning was to tell you first and formost what was wrong and needed improving about your work.
Your thoughts about the kayak looking like two different boats is a valid one, and one that I and at least one other friend who has seen the kayak has commented on. Arica, who has the final word on all things when it comes to this project still wants a design on the deck of the kayak. So I'm doing the best I can to accomplish the orginal drawing for her and that we can both be happy and proud of the finished work. Once again your two cents are just as appreciated as the pats on the back.
