: I think I like the $229.00 4x8 trailer from Harbour Tools. Shipping is
: included in the price.

: You could find it here:

: I would like to get some last minute opinions before I take the plunge and
: order it.

Clear a space for assembling the thing and have them deliver it to within 10 feet of that space. It is a heavy box to move, and there is no sense walking a lot when you unpack it. I asembled my trailer alone in my driveway over a period of two afternoons. With a helper you might do it in one.

Most of the first day was assembly of the frame and attaching the springs, axle and wheels. The second day I finished up and added the fenders and lights. The third day I drove it to the store to get plywood for the floor. I have since spent more time in making sidewalls and in painting the wood parts I put on, but the thing was useable long before my additional tinkering.

A lot of time is spent on tightening bolts and nuts. An electric or air driven socket wrench would REALLY speed things up. If you don't have one, see if you can borrow one. I kept stopping for breaks when my wrist got tired of working the ratchet.

Hope this helps.
