I agree with Ron and Roger. Go for what you like and do it. I like to be surprised by the art work being invented on this board and yours was refreshing with a nice clean look. My sister is a artist, a commercial artist and also an art teacher but in going through art museums with her, we didn’t like the same things. She may be correct but I like what I like.

Paduk is a reddish wood that might be OK for your blossoms.

Keep posting as you build you design.
