: My question is this: I've seen a number of photos of several work spaces on
: this forum but am wondering what would be the best, or recommended size
: and height for building a work bench for building my new boat? Any help
: would be much appreciated.

HI Dan,
I really like using 2 Black and Decker workmates to support my kayak projects. They worked great for the 2 Artic Terns and 2 cedar strip kayaks I built. I cut 4 short pieces of pine, put pipe insulation on the long ends and clamped a pair in each workmate, angled to support the hull. It's also very easy to clamp a long board to the workmates for misc. odds 'n ends. If you have a flat basement or garage floor for laying out and gluing your Osprey panels together, that will work great and save you the time and expense of building a huge work surface just to glue panels. Since this is a kit, you won't need to cut out the panels, just glue them together.
