: Would you have done the rub rail had you not painted the hull?
Yes. I like to accentuate the sheer line. That's why I always like full decklines too.

Did you choose walnut for the hardness or color?
A friend gave me some. I basically used it as an accent wood. I'm a good scrounger...

: Did you epoxy the rub rail?
Sanded the tape a bit, epoxied it on, and varnished it. Did a lot of masking too.
