Joe Greenley used Peruvian walnut for the contrast with the Alaskan yellow cedar on his new King. Stunning. He also uses it for paddles.

As soon as I finish about 500 or so other experiments and projects (many of them inspired by a brief visit to Joe's workshop last week) I want to find some of this wood and mess around with it for myself.
