The boat has only been finished for about 6 weeks, but I've been out several times, including rolling practice. I put a LOT of pressure on them at times without any issue. Aircraft Spruce says they are supposed to be good for 500 lbs each when you add the layer of cloth over the base. Let's see, 2000 lbs divided by 180 lbs = 11+ G's I try to stay away from anything that will expose me to those sorts of forces! I'm planning to do my next boat the same way.
