Anything we do in this shop is Neanderthal cave paintings compared to the Rembrant stuff you keep astounding us with. Yeah inlays and other such details take time, but your posts are constantly a reminder of what time and creativity magnified by talent can equal.

Your willingness to sweat the smallest details, constantly doing old things in new ways. Your willingness to follow inspiration with the time to let craftsmanship acheive artistry. Some of it I suspect is a way of thinking. I suspect after seeing so many of your postings go on our inspiration wall that it is more then just time that affords the level of your work.

Joe we may use the same tools, but mine turn to flint instruments in my hands. While yours becomes Bach's organ for masterful composition.

Many are talented but you are gifted. Your inspirations and your inventivness are unique.
