Off Topic: Homemade Food Dehydrator

I realize that this is way off topic, but I don't think there is a larger gathering of people with the same DIY attitude that I have, anywhere in the universe so here goes.

Have any of you folks run across plans or ideas to make a food dehydrator. It would bother me to no end to pay a whack of cash for something that I am sure I can make with a small fan, and a lightbulb or other small heart scource.
