My bandsaw sits high enough that the usual outfeed solutions for the table saw just won't reach. Of course there are ways to stack things up to make useable surfaces, but surely someone has developed an elegant and simple solution for moderate loads such as cutting strips. My best idea so far is just a simple sheet of plywood fastened to the bandsaw table at one end with a couple of legs at the other. This would work for shorter strips, but how do you folk handle the long ones?
Speaking of outfeed solutions, Nick's recently mentioned idea of making his workbenches the right height is going to make both my tablesaw and my new crude but effective workbench a lot more useful. Thanks for that stroke of genius, as well as for this whole board, Nick.
