Instead of jsut clamping on a piece of plywood for an outfeed, since you'll be working with long strips, go for a "balanced" solution that includes some support on the infeed side.
Clamp an 8 foot 1x8, 1x10 or 1x12 to the top of your bandsaw table, with about 3 feet serving for infeed and 5 feet serving for outfeed.
Drill a hole in it where you want yor blade to run, and cut a slot leading up to that hole so you can fit the board around the blade. Use two lengths of 1x3 for fences, setting the infeed fence so it is the width of a strip from the blade. End this fence at the back edge of the blade, or at most 22 inches behind the blade.
For the outfeed "fence" you have three choices: 1) It can be eliminated. 2) You can position it further away from the line of the cut, so your strip can bend away from the board it was cut from. 3) You can make an outfeed fence that is shaped like a long wedge, with the strip going to one side, and the newly cut edge of the board resting against the other side. This "fence" would be carefully aligned with the edge of the bandsaw blade.
If you add fences to the board which is serving as your new bandsaw table youwill stiffen it. If you decide against an outfeed fence, then screw on a 1x3 to the bottom of the board. Legs at the ends of this table extension can be added. Even a simple single 1x3 attached with a single wood screw to the fence side of it (so it is out of the way) will provide a great deal of support.
If you don't have a handy 1x12, you can rip an 8 foot long piece of 3/4 inch particle board or plywood for the table extension. A rough cut will suffice, and you can make the width greater. The edges don't have to be square as long as the fence is straight and aligned properly. Using wider plywood, you may be able to later cut this down to make some building forms. While it destroys your jig you'll save money on materials. And you can always make another one should you need it.
