I put a second football shaped layer on the outside, but it would have been better to put on two complete layers or just a single layer. The football layer left me with a frayed edge that is hard to blend smooth. The cloth is thinner than normal six ounce weave, so two complete layers would not be too heavy. I will follow Nick's standard layup for the rest, which is one layer inside with strips under the seat area and one layer inside and outside on the deck with strips to reinforce the cockpit. Let me know how you like the 127/350. I'm looking forward to doing the deck. The hull is a fairly plain design, but it really looks great when glassed. Regards, Scott.
