I forgot one other detail that might help. I found that 15-18 ounces of epoxy is about what you need to wet out the first layer. I mixed it in two nine ounce batches and had a little left over and a bunch on the floor. The Raka pumps were accurate and didn't burp. However, as a backup I used a measuring system I got off this board that is worth repeating. Use 16 ounce translucent "beer" cups to mix the epoxy. Put one cup inside a second and using a one ounce "medicine" cup, measure in water one ounce at a time. After each ounce, mark the level on the outside of the outer cup. When you mix the epoxy, start by adding two ounces of resin and check the level, then put in one ounce of hardener. This ensures accurate amounts and alternates the doses of resin and hardener. After it's measured you can take the full cup out and use the measuring cup over again. Thanks to the builder who first explained this method. -Scott
