Now I see you make thinner looms than what I've been making. My mistake to think in terms of what I've been doing, and not paying attention. Mine are thicker both ways and also have a larger hollow, although not as far into the blades. Yours will naturally thus be lighter, unless I make dangerously thin walls, which is not going to happen.

It'll be interesting to hear what happens with the glassed ones. In the thread more than a year ago I remember reading some surprising opinions - or truths(?) - about what will happen to glassed shafts under stress.
