Strip: Inlay material *Pic*

I found this stuff in my shop in pieces about 18" square. It appears to be some kind of hardboard, about 3/16" thick, but I have no idea what it was made for. It looks old. I think it will work well as an inlay. You could cut it into any shape. After I cut this hourglass shape out, I just placed it on some wax paper and filled it with epoxy. I have not weighed it, but it's not that heavy. The circles are cut out with a 1-3/4" hole saw on my drill press. I don't know where I will place them on the deck, but they should be easy to install.
