this sounds like a lot of work and more importantly loss of space. is there any other way?
if i remember correctly there is a huge, large backerplate on sealine brace/pedals. why not circumvent their mounting system altogether and drill a couple of extra holes somewhere in that huge plate for one backer pc of wood. Or even better for insetting those studs like from clc that take minimal space and then fix off w/ a nut.
also, is the backerplate removable? if so why not remove it or hack it down to 2 fixtures only(looks like its only for retrofitting) and do an even more insignificant mounting.
footspace is precious.
