: do the wood screws screw from the inside to the sheer or from the o/s thru

I put the wood screws through the skin. It’s possible to make a removable mounting plate in which the screws wouldn’t have to come through the skin. Screws through the skin don’t bother me.

: if you have a set of keepers or yakima in your other boats or know them well,
: what is your assessment of the relative merits of the sealine footpegs
: only to the others? like in strength,robustness and space taken up.

I have used both Keepers and Yakima foot braces and prefer Yakima. Both are difficult for me to reach and adjust. The SealLine braces appear to be made very well. They are certainly easy to adjust, even while sitting in the cockpit. This feature is why I am using them. How well they will hold up, only time will tell, as I have not used them yet.
