Epoxy: Tired of expensive paperweights -Freezing epoxy?

Hello All,

I am doing some small detail work and do not have a good way of mixing really small amounts. I am wasting good epoxy as a result. I recall seeing some posts about freezing epoxy after it is mixed. Can anyone lend me the benefit of their experience with this? After I mix a batch and pour out a little to use can I just pop the remainder into the freezer? How long does it take to thaw? I suppose if you do not time the thaw just right you may end up with another expensive paperweight after all?

Any thoughts appreciated.
