My calculator says 40 grams is equal to 1.41 oz. by weight.
30 ml (equal to 30g of water) is about 1 oz. by volume.
I use tiny medicine cups to measure mine...I regularly mix 15ml of epoxy (10ml resin, 5ml hardener) for small jobs. Okay, tiny jobs.
I used to have a bookmark for 100 of these cups at golfsmith.com, but can't find that item anymore. I should have bought a couple of sleeves and given them away at R2K1 as door prizes!

: I just picked up a digital kitchen scale for $30. It's accurate to two grams.
: I havent tried mixing small batches with it yet, but for RAKA the mix
: ration is 42% by weight. I figure that a 5% error would allow me to weigh
: a batch as small as 40 grams, which would be 17g of hardner and 23g of
: resin. Has anybody tried this? How small a batch is that? Too easy to
: screw up the math? I
