: Be careful with syringes. The rubber seal in a syringe is typically
: lubricated (often with silicon type materials). I had huge dufficulty with
: a clear coat for a car - Fish eyes. I ended up throwing $50 of material
: away because of small contamination since I used a syringe for mixing
: small batches for a trial run.

Not sure these syringes would be coated with silicon and they are made primarily for ingestable materials for infants, but.. it's always a possiblity. I have use mine for over a year now and so far.. knock on boat.. I haven't had any problems. But, in all fairness to this " ALERT ", I have primarily used my syringes for glue joints and small touch ups and nothing on the surface of a boat where it would show. Maybe some of the others using this method can comment on this possibility.
As best I can tell and for the application I'm using it for, I've had no problems. It's very accurate and is easy and clean to work with.
Hope this helps.
