Strip: perfection it is always in question

Ok i need help here. I sanding down the hull. This is my first kayak and it is stapless. I have a few dips here and theer that i have planed and sanded away, but a few more are more prominent. i need to now how perfect is need to be before glassing. Can I build up epoxy and varninsh later to hide, or does it need to be perfect now?
