the boat is a dream to paddle! tracks real good, but turns well with a lean. both primary and secondary stability, great. 5.5 mph(statute) with a greenland paddle. it was a windy day with waves up to 18" out in the bay. heading into the wind, even the biggest waves wouldn't wash the deck. heading downwind she seemed to want to surf the bigger waves. no indication of wanting to broach.
she's built of yellow cedar with dark wrc as accent strips. she's a bit heavy but that doesn't matter once she's in the water . as Joe says "if you can have only one boat, this is it" thanks big time to all from this board, and to Joe for a great boat!!
