I was free handing it with the rotary hole saw, the guide couldn't go to that shallow of a depth but I was able to make a very straight line holding it at an angle against the depth guide, I wonder if a router would have too much horsepower to remove little amounts with control? Hmmm maybe I better go back to Home depot and check out a trimmer as Mathwew mentioned. Just think at this rate I should be making a strip boat in 5yrs.
