I'm getting close to working on the "football" of my hull. I'm toying with the idea of alternating the strips in a "herringbone weave" along the keel line, instead of making a straight-line cut along the keel. BUT - I'm not sure how best to improvise a cove cut along the bevelled end of each strip as it fits up against the beaded side edge of the prior strip. I chose to strip with the bead edge up, so all of the exposed edges in the football will be bead edges.

I'm sure I'm not the first one to run into this problem, so there must be some innovative solutions out there. Any suggestions?? Thanks
