I'm glad you asked about the coating question, I think both Bob and Nick have been clear on what they do and that is good enough for me. I'm just sanding out my Cape Ann and hope to be ready to start glassing in the next couple of weeks as time allows. I've been struggling with just this issue for awhile not sure which way to go
