Thanks for all the kind remarks. Tim has taken six weeks off work to complete his craft. Between the two of us, by that point he had over 100 hours invested. I was there for an extra pair of hands when needed and for instruction (tips and hints)and all prep work. The "Bjossa" is a new kayak I have designed with this being the first off the molds.
As for arrow head design, we used thin strips of Yellow cedar as seen in pic. We glued several pieces together on bench and then cut round design and shaped with drum sander. Then shaped and butt glued Red cedar plank to make full length strip before cutting and shaping to fit into deck.
Deck is now almost complete. Final touches to add and then attaching deck to hull next week. Will post when launching.
