It certainly helps, but I'm not sure it is much more of an issue than with a heavier plain weave. I recently made some test panels with it. The last layers I put on were done in the morning and the resin was a bit thick. Those were the only layers that had problems. If you are shooting for the best possible appearance, it is a good idea to work with warm resin regardless of the style of glass (place the resin and hardener containers in a cooler containing warm water). Of course with some systems, you have to balance a shorter pot life with the lower viscosity. Any of the slow hardeners should work out well when warm.
