I plan to try a new product (to me) to do end pours. It is an environmentally friendly two part epoxy system that a local company here has developed (Vancouver, Canada). It is supposedly a completely safe product in that it's base is a vegetable by-product. I am told that either part of the two part mixture or mixed together, you can actually eat the product and it is totally safe. Several of the large producers are using the product in their final stage to ensure that all inside seams are sealed and watertight. I am told it is much more liquid than regular expoxy meaning it will penetrate much easier into cracks and ensure no wood is exposed in bow and stern. He is going to bring over a sample in next few weeks for demo and for me to try. We will use in the boat that is being completed in next two weeks and I will let everyone know how it goes.
Company is Enviro-Plast. Don't know if he has any web presence, but will forward once I know.
