Hey! Looking good there Bobby. I really like the way the accent strips worked with the light colored wood. What are you going to do for hand holds? Bore some holes? I'm still debating that one. I did get the deck on and cockpit cut out. Working on the coaming presently. Should update the site soon. It's getting warmer here and I'm anxious to get that puppy in the water! :-)

For those out there following along, when Dick Gamble first posted his version (the first hybrid SS?), I remember thinking that this boat with a stripped deck is a really interesting contrast in geometry. It has a very angular hull that blends into a a deck that's both flat and curved! Now that I am working on one myself, I find I have trouble getting anything done as my eye keeps scanning over it trying to settle on the spot where the angles stop and the curves start. :) It's very pretty.

Oh well! Enough digression .... Now, where is that sander ??? ......
