: really did a number! THe S wave shook here for nearly 40 seconds I found
: myself afterwards trying to calculate the difference for distance.

If you live in northern New York, just wait five minutes and the weather will change. I was laying in bed listening to the birds , including turkeys, as the windows were wide open. I thought for some reason that the furnace had overloaded with fuel oil and was ready to explode, thinking that the temp had really dropped overnite. When the house quit shaking I realized it was a quake. I have to go dig the snowblower back out or just use the lawnmower as the grass has just been freshly cut. Neil
