Sorry for not being clear on that!
The thing is, I am thinking [rightly or wrongly!],
that I may be able to build a VERY short kayak,
along the lines of whitewater kayaks [say 8' long],
for use on the lake I live at on days when it is too
windy/ wavy to launch my 14' [plastic ;-( ] kayak.
I would like to have a very manouverable kayak which
I could take out in 4'+ waves and just play on the waves
within a short distance to shore.
Hope this makes sense!
I guess it would be easier to just buy a second hand whitewater
kayak for this purpose, BUT, I am up to the challenge of building
a wooden whitewater type kayak if this is feasible.
Any ideas or suggestions?
