Hi Folks,
I want some nudging here. What should I do next? I would like to build sea kayaks for me and my wife. I am 6 feet 230 lbs, she is 5'8" and weighs 150. This time I am not in a hurry but will be money pressed from time to time.
First I thought about buying a kit and build the second kayak side by side.
Then I thought about just buying plans and cutting the wood my self. The only problem I have right now is that Pygmy does not have any plans for big folks like me.
I also thought that perhaps I should attempt a strip build kayak but this area I never researched enough. How expensive is it to build a stripper? Is the weight comparable to kit boats?
Help me out here.
