Go for her! The Panache is a very beautiful kayak and very pleasant to paddle.
I built one a couple of years ago and presented to my son. I´m allowed to borrow her when I want. For a year ago we was at the west coast of Sweden and paddled in wind about 13m/s. She behaved superb. Tracked well in every direction and met the sea with proud.
She draws attention cause she is a beauty and very proud. Other kayaks seems small besides her.
The building was, well not easy, but if you follow the instructions there is no problem.
