I rounded out the peak on a stripped deck. However I had to make new stations to do it. It was eas for me as I had a stitch and glue hull. so the forms just poped off.

because you will not be able to remove the existing stations (if stapled) I suggest making a station with just the top rounded from the shear up. then bring the 'hull portion' of the new stations down to a point. Mark on the existing station where this top piece would fit. Screw the new top on (through the side, uing the V'ed hull portion to screw to the remaining hull portion.) it will be off positionally by the thickness of teh station, so you will have to do some 'fairing by eyeball'.

I faired my entire deck by eyeball, first I drew all stations on one peice of
paper, then faired with a wood rasp one in postion. I had to do a couple of iterations, pulling one station out and re-working it. That would be alot harder if you are using staples.

This is just a thought, never tried it.
