This is a clarification of my original posting, Wed., Apr 24th.
The modification I designed can solely be used to reposition the foot braces while enroute, without reaching down under the deck. I have two modification methods - one which is only a cable release of the brace latch, the other is an additional enhancement that holds the latch in the release position for whatever reason. I assume the former (latch release only), would be the one most popular with most kayakers.
