Greetings John B. You're so right! I'm addicted and I have only very recently discovered the craft, (both the making) and (the result). I have to say that I am by nature easily seduced by the beauty of wood and line and look with sheer astonishment at the creations made by you guys. they are truly works of art.

It's appears that there to be no one in OZ selling plans, kits or manufacturing kayaks in wood, perhaps I should look at that opportunity, Australians are very much into boats,I wonder why not kayaks?. Have you built many and if so what boat would you recommend for my purposes.

I take your point about needing a base to build the next one, that had occurred to me as the ideal way to winter out and finance the next leg of my oddessy. Talk with you again shortly .
