: Rob-When you say you coat the stem edges back 12", are you referring to
: the fillets along the keel line in the bow and stern? If so ,why do you do
: them after first taping and then removing the tape holding both halves
: together rather than before doing the first taping? -Greg

I'm sorry, I mean the edges of the deck and hull at the stems.

I do this because it may not be possible to reach to the tip of the deck/hull stem
join on the inside. This way the interior seam is glued and sealed near the stems.
The outside surfaces of the joint will be glassed later.
