For anyone interested I've posted 16 photos from last Sat. Socal Boat Builders Forum, on the Arica's Silver web site. Although not a large event (I think there were only 12 boats total from 7-8 different builders), the quality of the boats and their builders was outstanding. Dave Houser drove down from Long Beach with his CLC Severne and 3 of his paddles (2 Euro Style and 1 Greenland). Keith Davis brought along his two Strip boats (a Panache and a open cockpit double that is based on the Georgian Bay but stretched a bit and widened considerably) He also had some really nice display stands for the double. Jeff - brought along his Pygmy with a really nice piece of WWII Bomber Nose Art painted on the aft Deck. Kurt Weisbore drove up from the Sandiego area and brought along several of his CLC Designd boats. Kurt is a liscenced builder for CLC and his boats are fantastic. He uses automotive paints and clear coats to finish his boats. All in all it was a really good event.
Enjoy the photos, Scott
