Hi Canary, The fabric will tend to "float" off the surface of the wood during wet-out. It's hard to notice but when you run the squeegee over the wet glass a bead of resin will ooze out from under the fabric. It's not an uncommon problem. The other end of the spectrum is glass so dry (squeegee'd too much) that it's "starved".

It's not a big deal. Your boat would be slightly lighter/slightly stronger without the waves. Don't sweat it; no one will know but you.
