I had hours of trouble glassing the inside of my canoe, in part because the epoxy was still slightly tacky (it actually did not feel tacky to the touch, but the cloth still stuck to it). I have tons of wrinkles, cuts in the cloth, it would not lay flat on the keel (air bubbles).... Argh.

It may work better on the outside of the hull, but I would not try it.
