Your reponse came just as we were leaving for vacation, so I'm just now back to pester you some more.

You've used Schooner on mahogany, then, and with a brush, but not on the exterior? What can you say about it's color tint, how long it lasted for you, and the relative cost? I found Epiphanes a tough varnish to learn varnishing technique with, though I finally did get an acceptable result; I've been planning on brushing on Captain's on my current project, with an earlier refurbishing in the future.
