I built my first stripper 20 years ago using a new-fangled resin called epoxy (ooh--ahh) in a friends basement. I didn't even notice the smell, but her son became sickened by it. The neighbors in their duplex left for a long weekend because of it. Be careful who you may disturb with the fumes, use some ventilation fans to exhaust the bad-nasties out a window and provide for a clean (maybe filtered?) source of fresh air.
