I was hoping you would confirm what I believed was going on here. I'm trying to stay true to what the designer intended and I want the boat as pretty as I can make it, but ultimately it's going to be a working boat. That means all my fussing will probably be for naught by seasons end.

I watch this board pretty closely and you guys are generous with your opinions and experience and I for one really appreciate it. I can't tell you how many pitfalls I've avoided from reading these posts.
