: Sunday night, I was hand sanding the bow of my developing kayak, hit a rough
: spot of epoxy and got a piece of it in my eye. Actually, a sliver of it
: got embedded in my cornea and had to go to an eye specialist to have it
: removed. Result: scratched eyeball and cut the inside of my eyelid just
: through the action of blinking. (haven't been in that much pain in a long,
: long time!) Never thought to wear eye protection when NOT using the power
: tools, but I think I may start. I wouldn't wish this on anyone.

Hey Dave

Sorry to hear of your incident! Hope you recover quickly.

I just had an eye surgery about 4 months ago and I can feel your pain.. Don't think I've ever felt anything is bad as having your eye cut and then having to blink all the time. Get well and Good advice on the goggles.
